well, i am back and i met our dear ex-first lady. i asked her how bill was doing and then we chatted about the yankees who are going to beat up the red sox tonight. actually, i barely said anything to her as they were rushing us through pretty fast. she looked good as far as first ladies/senators go. then she signed a book for me, which in case you are wondering, i work at the place that publishes her book. there, that explains it. i must say it was fairly strange to talk to a person who was in the middle of all sorts of crazy/scandalous/important/bizaare stuff. now she is the senator of my new state and most folks like her here. i can't wait to hear what steve c. is going to add to this.
