so.. work has been a total bore, they have locked down almost everything, and its tracked like crazy for some reason, so i have to post at night and in the morning, which has been going good so far. i bought a bike, which is super good, the nights i dont skate its nice to actually do something other than lay around in my underwear and drink alone. one thing though, i decided that i would wear a helmet, just in case i get smaked, i want my lid to be ok. i dont know though, i bought a helmet and its horribly moroninc looking. someone needs to tell be how important it is. please tell me.. i am going to try and take a few days off from the drink, i have been hitting it pretty hard lately, and i need to drop a few of my winter pounds.. and thats from last winter.. oh well..
Posted by larry at August 29, 2005 08:56 PMI need to get a bike helmet too, but like you I have a bit of a problem with looking like a dork in one. There's really no way around it though so If it will increase my chances of continuing to live than I'll live with it.
You could trick it out with some pipe cleaners, paper mache and old photos to make it more attractive. Or better yet just put a paper bag over your head when you wear it. You'd look like the unknown comic only on a bike.
