oh man. i think that i have had 1 call and only 1 person has come in to get a machine. what a waste of a day. i have been going through the independent trucks website.. yes, its boring and slow.. i also ate the worst sandwich from quiznos. the bread was all dried up and the vegies tasted really old. not surprizing since they didnt work yesterday, that means all that stuff is leftover from wed, which means it was put out on tues.. blaaagh. what else, nothing yet, no one is at work today, wait, curt must be!!

friday why day

oh well, thanksgiving is here and gone boo hoo. for those of you who havent had a tofurky, save yourself 2 hours and forget about it. i made another one this year, but it just plain sucked. uuug, thinking about it is making me sick. anyway, it was a great day, but now its friday and i am at work. is anyone else working today?? hopefully no one will come in, but last year it was actually pretty busy. we will see.i have been here over 40 minutes and not a call yet, thats kind of rare.

man. what a day. i didnt snowboard on sat, and everyone bailed on sunday. i dont really care cause i got almost all of my x-mas shopping done!! ya!! you can all send me a congrats card if you want. hmmm what else. oh the gator movie. as far as documentaries go it was supurb, not boring or drawn out. its close to one of my favorite docs i have ever seen. it is a interesting show for anyone who may have skated in or around the 1980's, but its also full of hilarious 80's fashion as well.. man that was good.. i think that i have to cook at my house on thurs. my house is a studio apt. i have a big room and a big kitchen so it shouldnt be too bad. i was stressed cause i didnt have a casserole dish anymore, so i am gonna attmept to use a foil one. crap, what do you care what i am making green bean casserole in?? get back to work!!

well, today is friday, its 4:07. everyone else has gone home for the day but not me, cause i am on the west coast, the last to fall. i am getting excited cause i go to the gator movie tonight. i have known about that movie for over a year, and finally get to go see it.. jacko, fuk that guy. wait, i am not 12, so i cant fuk him. what makes me so pissed is that the type of things that he does are sooooo out of line in "normal" society, but he gets away with it because of who he is. if me or anyone else showed that type of behavior towards children, or had sleepovers, and had paintings of little kids flocking around us, we would for sure be in jail or at least not be allowed to be near any kids.. reguardless if he is guilty or innocent i am already sick of him, he has only been a novelty to me, no differant than kaja goo-goo, or culture club, or miami vice. just another 80's fad that wont disapear.. aaach.. hopefully this time he is gone for good..

oh well. its thursday already. work has been the same dull drone all week as always. i havent skated in almost 7 days! thats a new record, i need to relax a little and heal up. i am really excited, the gator movie stoked is playing here starting tomorrow. i think that i am gonna go tomorrow night. the theater is about 6 blocks from work. i can eat a slice, then throw back some cool suds. oh, that stoked site kinda sucks, got the the cinema21 site, there is a better explanation..

oh well. today is really slow due to the snow. portland is clear but the highways are all messed up cause of 2 inches of wet snow. funny to me actually cause this is like a late spring snow in nodak, nothing to get in a mess about. oh well. i got lit up last night and now i am tired cause of it. tonight i am going to watch conan the destroyer, then the rest of fight club. real fun time. god i am bored. do you know that i want to someday eat an entire pie? i think that i could do it. probably a cherry or peach. even a blueberry pie would do.. i would like to go to a sheri's or a perkins (although there arent any out here) and get a coffe and an entire pie. damn that would rule..

rain pain

in portland it rains, it rains a whole hell of a lot. not the crazy downpour rain, just mellow rain. but last night it poured, it rained all night rally hard, and since fall is just picking up here there are tons of leaves on the ground still. and when the leaves meet the water, they usually clog all the drains so all the streets have a bunch of standing water. i had to get into my car through the pasanger side this morning. its kind of funny actually, there was a anarchist/achivist/clown family that lived down the street from me when i lived in ne portland. whenever it rained hard he would brush debris and leaves and clog the drains on the end of the block. then sit and drink beer while people had to drive around it.

oh the weekend, how quickly we forget thee.. the dee dee ramone movie was pretty interesting.. it wasnt really about anything other than his drug problem, and loosely tied toghether stories about johnny thunders. pretty interesting if you are interested in some depressing punk history.. not much else happened. i have some drawings for the masses, but here is a question.. my digi camera software makes it long and arduous to shrink photos to 640x480 if they werent taken that way, i have to go in and change each photo one at a time. anyone know of a program that will let me do like 10 at one time?? please!!

oof. getting ready for my morning deposit. just drinking coffee and chillin. tonight i think that we are going to see the dee dee ramone film i like the theater, its the clinton street a good place to see underground or anime films.. its payday to, which means i have the illusion of having money for a few days. what else is happening you legions of saks? went skating at the indoor last night and i was not killin it, nor was i "shredding" so i spent most of the night dorking around with OR_larry's kid. yes, there is now a OR_larry. he has a 12 year old who is really good. weird huh..

i am trying to get my plane tickests home for x-mas. for some reason they are really expensive this year. i have seriously been looking since sept. but the prices havent come down at all. stevie, even the expedia ones are through the roof. damn i hate paying for flying, they should let me do it for free. in other news, its boring here today. last night i went and saw pirates of the caribean. it was actually pretty good. i dont normally go to movies very often, but i think that is 4 in the last week or so. crap.. i hurt myself pretty good skating a few weeks ago, so i think thats why. oh well. oh, i heard that kossick got fired from big brother. i haven read that mag for awhile, anyone heard about that??

crap show

i was thinking the other day about the worst show i have ever been too. i dont think i had ever been to a bad show until i was over 21, alcohol, bitchy girlfriends, all those things seem to take away from the guilt free fun of youth. anyway, by far the worst show i have ever been to was defiance ( a gutter punk band) here in portland. now, there are some funny stories about that band. they were in fargo in 93, and from what todd tells me, they were one of the first "real gutter punk bands" that fargo had seen. they also stole all the bats from the 700 club, which entails about 30 funny stories in itself. anyway, back to mine, i went to see them play here in portland (they are from here) and they have the oldest, grumpiest, stinkiest, most asshole-filled fan base of any band i have ever seen. before the show started, i had almost gotten in a fight with the guitar player (he tripped over my foot as i was facing the bar, he was walking behind me), and found out that the base player had tried to steal nygaards guitar the week before (he worked at a bar where nygaards band had played the week before).. the band really isnt that bad, they are just old, and they are gutterpunks, and they are losing hair, and they are giant assholes.. fuk that band..

thanks to Britania's newest son EIDE for finding this magical tidbit! way back in the early 90's there was a show called fifteen on Nickelodeon. I think that eide and i were the only ones in the country that ever watched it. it was so horrible, but soooo good. one guy had a "drinking" problem, and he was shown throeing down coors light.. and the ashley girl, damn, she was hot!! anyway, we swore up and down that it was a canadian show, but no one we ever talked to had heard of it, canadian or american.. anyway, check it out!! Fifteen, there you have it!! oh, by the way "Although many of the actors were from Vancouver, British Columbia (and the surrounding area), the series was filmed in Orlando, Florida" sweeet. good job eide, you are quit the gumshoe..

on sat night tara and i went and saw 16 candles. it was at a theater by my house. actually a theater where you can drink beer. i forgot though that the pitchers are tiny and cost 11 dollars. oh well, i really like that show. its boring here today and i have been reading about pink and christina. pink of course has a new album coming out, and just raised a stink about being introduced by ms agulara at some show. now whats funny is that pink is on arista records, owned by bmg. christina is on rca, also owned by bmg. why should they fight? the better question is why shouldnt they fight? no matter which side joe q public chooses, the labels are making money and all the sudden said public is paying attention to said artists. did you know that both britney spears and justince timber lake share the same home on jive records?? i dont pay much attention to this shit, but i do remember hearing over and over again how these two were writing revenge songs against each other.. again, no matter who wins these little media wars that are created, the labels (or whoever gets the money, certainly not artists but in this case who cares) win big time.. why dont i listen to the radio? this is why.. all this took me about 10 minutes to find. the music world sucks, and the public sucks worse for not caring about anything but which celebrity is dating which.. watch a news program or listen to a radio station for 30 minutes and you will see. damn

Morrissey

What is it about Morrissey?? i have been reading a little about him, and apparently doesnt use the web very much, and i still cant find an "official" page. I saw him play here about a year ago and i was pretty impressed. I still like the smiths and morrissey, but i dont know what it is about the moz that appeals to me so much. i was always jealous of wolf, cause he kinda reminded me of morrissey.. damn i love morrissey. i have a hard time lisning to older stuff, reminds me of high school too much.. i remember driving around listing to bona drag, the same night i broke up with bret hydes sister, i think that it was snowing.. weird.. its almost 5. i get to go home. OR_dave and i are gonna head up to lincoln city to skate tomorrow. hopefully its not too cold out. eat it.

last night OR_dave had to work and i am still sore from falling, so instead of skating, i went to the new matrix instead. my review so far has been that the movie was forgettable at best. its forgettable until you remember that you wasted 8 fuking dollars on it. i should have paid someone in the park 8 dollars for some of their dogs shit, thats about how bad this movie was. if you are going to waste you're money on it, go to a matinee. ill just say this, there was a lot of sighing and huffing in the theater. special effects were really good, but the movie was crap, now its ruining my day as well as my night..

good morn to one and all. how is everyones day?? mine is ok, nothing special. last night i got served pretty hard at the indoor park. hung up on a disaster and now i have 2 sore wrists, a bruised knee and a nice swellbow. damn its good to be old.. do you know that i have met a whole assload of larry's since i moved here? i think that i had only heard of 2 or three untill now. weird huh. i am eatinf toast and peanut butter. last night i drank a beer in the shower. it was miller, the kind in the clear bottle. my grandpa used to drink that. he used to leave half filled bottles in the fridge for days at a time. we used to try drinking it, and obviously it tasted like ass..

kind of bored this morning. drinking the crappy work coffee cause i woke up too late to make my own. i have been obsessed with eggs and toast lately. 2 eggs, on toast, with some franks red hot sauce. man thats good. some nodak kids were in town last night, brian heck, travis, and jim. i stayed out a little late, but nothing crazy.. damn, i have a weird pain in my left shoulder, i dont know what the hell it is, but it hurts. i am bored and cant really think of anything..

i forgot about the funniest costume that i saw. it wasnt really the best costume, but whats funny about it is that it took me awhile to figure it out. at the kegger on sat, there was a guy on the couch almost the whole time. i thought he looked kinda goofy, cause he had on headphones at a party, and was wearing a cubs jearsey. anyway, about 30 minutes later, i was looking at him again, when i realized he was dressed as the cubs fan who caught that ball. i am still laughing about that, he looked pretty good, frumpy looking, with the headphones, cap and everything.. ha.

oh well. november is already here. i cant belive it!! it suks cause it has been in the low 40's here, i know thats nothing compared to nodak winters, but its freezing to me.. i walked into a comic store the other day, and there was a group of kids having a tournament, yelling about rules and what level battle master some "don" kid was. god i love that. i am trying to decide if i should get into manga comics or not, i know that i am a few years behind, but there are few that are out in english, plus they read from back to front, damn thats cool.

well, how was everyones halloween? mine was pretty mellow, but still fun. friday i went to burnside they always have crazy shit going on during halloween. it was freezing, but i stood next to jake phelps (of thrasher magazine) and saw a few other people, so it was pretty cool. way to many people, and there was a drunk guy with his shirt off (it was in the low 40's) shooting bottle rockets out of his pants.. other than that nothing really. anthony, i wanna see costume photos!
