dag nasty. thinking of dag nasty brings memories of driving around with eric lee and stacey bickler in bicklers black charger. they are one of those bands that really seem to stay sooooo good to me. everyone has a few of these i am sure, but with these guys it is almost decendents like. i always wonder why dag nasty never really got bigger (by bigger i mean like all, decendents, etc) anyone know why? i know they had a new album come out, i have heard it a few times, but wasnt that impressed.. ya, its pretty slow now but i have a lot of machines to finish once parts get here.

fat, sweet, rad. these are terms that are loosly thrown around your local skatepark, maybe even the local mountain, but did you know that you can also use them for cake? fuk cake is good. i havent had cake for awhile, but i bet it would be good to have some right now. eide, remember we used to call mikey cake boy? he would get soooo pissed. my bosses dog once ate an entire pound cake, it got really sick. troy reisenour once ate an entire watermelon. i am trying to take a break, but people keep coming in. work is still busy, and i have a headache from too much coffee.. do you like cake? damn, i like cake..

sup all, sorry to sound so dramatic last week, i am having a shitty time at home and at work. things could be much worse for me, so i shouldnt be so down on myself. i am very excited, i will be in fargo in one week!! also, my new roomate adam just got a job at a wine reseller. he took his first payment in wine. yes, in wine. so ya, i really like my new place, it is sooooooo nice and relaxing. tara and i went out until 4 in the morning on sat. i feel like ass today and the receptionist isnt here til tomorrow so i have to answer the damn phones and talk to every swinging dick that walks in the door.. aaaagh
everybody has gone home for the day. my life is very frustrating and crappy right now, i want to thank all my friends for their love and support.
well oh well. howard dean is out, i have to take a dump and i am all jacked up on coffee. i am kind of hungover, and just finished a bowl of shredded wheat. got all that? soon enough i am gonna replace a fl inverter in a machine, then take a break and read a magazine.. in huge news, i retired over half of my stroke book collection. big news i know but i havent gotten one for years, so my collection was tattered and weathered and needed to be put down "sniff" they will be thought of fondly.. i still havent finished moving, maybe tonight i can move my bed cause its pretty boring having only a radio and a bed in a apt.. hey, there is a indie movie about a Morissey fan, has anyone seen it?

its slow. how slow? i prepared my taxes, talked to my mom, and made lunch. its a slow week here, and i am kind of giddy cause i am moving tonight. not sure if i will move my bed, but if we get going early enough i may just do that. damn moving suks, i am excited, then not. kinda like when les takes his shirt off. soon i get to go to the post office, send some stuff off, and cash a 4 dollar check ( i sold a kung fu comic on ebay). sweet.
i just remembered that hardly anyone else is working today. man, that makes me angry.. as angry as the stupid radio?? yes, almost.. i dont know why i ever bother with the radio, today they were reading "funny facts" but it was a recognizable e-mail list from about 4 years ago. soooo annoying.. in other news, i know a person who owns a sushi resturant! well, kind of know, my friends frank and arla (known form now forward as "farla") know this guy who owns it. arla and i went to pick up frank and we had a bite, was pretty good. ryan, i am thinking of getting a wallet chain!! the only problem is that i went with a really small cloth wallet, but i am seriously considering the chain again, any thoughts on that??
man, wallets are a funny thing. i have had the same wallet for almost 12 years. now, there have been certain times in there where i had a differant one for a bit, but for the most part, i can narrow it down to 2 wallets my entire adult life. thats funny to me cause over x-mas i noticed my dad was still using the same wallet (its an old blackish brown leather wallet, but its mostly flaky white) he has had it so long i cant really remember the color its suppost to be. he and i had talked about wallets cause i notices about 2 new ones in their bedroom.. like me, he has gotten new wallets, moved everything over, then a week or so later, goes back to the old wallet.. seriously, the wallet he has looks like its been to war, if a wallet could have a 1000 yard stare, that wallet had it.. my wallet has a busted old sticker that todd gave me senior year if high school, its worn off completly, but the gummy black residue is still there. damn, its slow now. the receptionist is gone this morning. i am booooored, but kool keith is here to help.. i took yesterday off. obviously snowboarding was a better way to spend the day than working. the weather here has been super nice, mid 50's usually, and it was sunny and mellow on the mountain. its kinda funny cause when the weather gets nicer, work usually slows down, weird.
man, mornings are great. its the only part of the day where i am not dead tired.. i just ate some cereal, now it s on to a rice cake, wait, maybe a banana. tomnorrow i am taking off work to go to the mountain. i drop tara off at the ol airport, then its off to ride. the weather has been super nice though, so it might be kinda warm up there..

aaah the quintessential dump. taking a dump, dropping a log, damming the creek, whichever way you squeeze one out, its still a dump. lately these seem to be the epoch of my working day. like a work friend who is always there, i depend on this dump for a few minutes of solace every morning. on those rare occasions that it doesn't show up, i am left wondering all day what went wrong. did i eat too much? not enough? too much cheese? too much stress? just like a sick co-worker, you never know why they didnt show. after this elation in my day, thats when the things usually start to subside in importance. now, here i sit. waiting for greg to bring me the 4.74 amp power supply so i can test out the mini pci card i installed in that 1905. over there sits the order and the tag for that 6100 mdc modem card i ordered earlier. all remnants of the only joyous occasion of my working day. oh work dump, how i miss thee...
well, it is friday. i get my board back today, base grind and all. i have been calling around all week getting my mailing adresses changed. that is a real treat. ugh. its boringly slow again today, wait, its only 8:30. wait, its 8:40, wait, its still boring..
well, not much going on today. work has been suuuper slow. well, slow for me that is. crap i am so bored i cant think of anything to say.
i think that i am moving out at the perfect time. i had new neighbors move in across the hall. they had a big party on monday night and are super loud. the doors we have are paned glass (you have to have a sheet over them to stop the light) and you can hear the hallway pretty easily. oh well. work has been super slow which is good and bad. i drank a 4 dollar coffe and feel no better.
man, i took my snowboard in for a wax and base grind, i think thats the first time someone other than me has waxed it, but 6 years of shoddy basement waxing have taken its toll.. what else, oh, i hate the radio, but sometimes i give it a listen. yesterday, these dj's were talking about liz phair. the older dj was saying "i heard that some liz fans are unhappy with her change in style" and the younger one was saying, "ya, i listened to her in college, liz phair andcandlebox" what the fuk dude, shes been around much longer than candlebox, what morons, i thought dj's had to know a little about decent music.. aarrgh
last night i went and saw bad santa at the cheap theater. actually, the movie is cheap, and they have miniature pitures of beer for $11!! screw that.. the movie was funny though, very disturbing, but funny.. what else, oh i am kinda hungover, and i ate a microwave burrito for breakfast. yumm. there were something like 5 shootins in portland over the weekend. what a fabulous place to be..
man, what a good weekend.. saturday i skated in olympia, was a pretty fun park. the drive always sucks, cause the olympic peninsula gets an assload of rain all year long.. sunday, was at the mountain by 8:15 and rode all day, it was a damn marathon. they have been getting tons of snow all week, so it was not a major powder day, but still there was a ton of good snow. seriously one of the funnest weekends i have in awhile. last night i had a one man party. now here i am drinking coffee, trying to start working. i will be moving into a house with my friend adam this month, so that will be nice.. uuugh
